The Ft. Worth Modern put this little time lapse thing together, and we provided the jams. I think it fits pretty well. Thanks to Dustin.
From their blog:
"The permanent collection has been up in first-floor galleries for a month now. Everything always looks so clean and crisp when the installation is complete, but the process of getting everything to that stage is a lot of work. We took some time lapse video of the crew installing four of the works on view right now and you can see some of the work that goes into installing a show. A special thank you to Mom who provided the music."

The End of a Beautiful Thing
The past few days have been getting easier on the road. Our drive times for the last week decreased by about half, and we've become professional passengers. We've slurped up as much of the free coffee and wine as we could. For now, the first part of this journey is coming to a close. The tour with This Will Destroy You has been a blast! Playing all over Europe has been an eye opening experience for the both of us. Meeting people all over the world, eating amazing food, and seeing the most beautiful vistas out our windows. We finished off the tour with a great show at a "Visions Party" in Bielefeld, Germany. Bruce and I stayed after the performing was all said and done for some dancing and didn't get back to our hotel until 5 a.m. the next morning. Thanks TWDY for sharing this with us, we really couldn't have had a better time.
And a special thank you goes out to the tour's merch guy, Hacksaw. He worked hard every night slinging everyones stuff, and did a wonderful job. He was also extremely entertaining in his "Doctor" states of mind at the end of nights.

All over and back to Germany
Moving all over the place these days. We've had a few rough drives that are now under our belts, and have a few more on the way, then it's home free in Germany! We've been treated really well all over Europe. The crowds have been packed tight, and extremely generous. In Scotland we hung out with some really cool kids after our show. We've had a couple of really awesome fairy rides here and there. Another memorable evening was last night in Tczew, where after our show we danced the night away until 3 a.m.! Joel even drank a shot of vodka. Thank you's go out to the pack of really nice polish girls who danced it up with us. Tonight's show in Dresden was a fun one. The sound had a lot of potential, but things always change when a room fills with 200 people. We enjoyed every bit of it though. Beautiful space-
Thank you for all the generosity that those have shown us along the way. We're having the time of our lives!

we're in Belgium at the present. Europe tour started off a bit shaky with Joel breaking a cello string, a low mix, and a slightly rough crowd. However, we fixed the string and Brussels is treating us very well. The drives are beautiful and our driver/tour manager Martin is a very cool guy. After this tour he's managing Lightning Bolt, so it's kind of beyond me why he's working with us. Unfortunately we haven't been able to roam about the cities thus far. It's a lot of work getting to the venue, loading/unloading, and finding a place to stay, but the drives have been beautiful and the coffee at gas stations is outstanding.
I can't believe someone was throwing this away

Hacksaw knows about whiskey.

a few more photos:
